Through mobile dismantling equipment, lower-impact solvent separation and in-house R&D, Sunhorn recovers materials from emerging waste streams for lower-carbon reuse.
Working with the core R&D team at Donghua University, Sunhorn has developed mobile dismantling and green-solvent separation equipment for low-carbon, energy-efficient material separation and comprehensive recovery of end-of-life PV modules.
Developed by the in-house R&D team, the process enables efficient material recovery and reuse of end-of-life wind turbine blades.
Sunhorn's R&D work supports cascade utilization and material recovery from end-of-life lithium batteries, turning battery waste into reusable materials.
Sunhorn's self-developed containerized recycling equipment for end-of-life PV modules integrates junction box and frame removal, thermal treatment, glass separation and backsheet removal for glass-backsheet modules. Using a purely physical and mechanical process, the system produces zero waste emissions, supports on-site dismantling and weight reduction, and can reduce total module recycling costs by an estimated 30% through lower transportation costs.
